Social services for home alone children

With this project Alternative Sociale Association continues to develop psycho-social services and educational support for children at risk in Iasi that are home alone as result of their parents going to work abroad.

Need for information and systematization of the resources led to creating www.singuracasa.ro . The web site is a source of information for professionals, parents, and children with the purpose of reducing the negative effects of parents going to work abroad on their children.

In order to know exactly the size and characteristics of the phenomenon we've conducted a research at national level. Based on this research 60 professionals in 3 counties selected in accordance to the incidence of the phenomenon will benefit from trainings on creating working skills in offering direct services.
